Meeting location, dates, and times

The DFW Grotto meets at REI, a store specializing in outdoor gear—even some caving gear! REI is at 4515 LBJ Freeway, Farmers Branch, Texas 75244. Phone: (972) 490-5989.

REI is on the north side of LBJ Freeway just west of Welch Rd. Head west on the LBJ access road from the intersection of LBJ and the Dallas North Tollway, and after you pass Welch, REI will be on your right. If you get to Midway you've gone too far. Map

Meetings are usually held on the fourth Wednesday of each month. There is no meeting in December; instead there is a holiday party on a date to be announced in the fall.

Meetings start at 6:45 p.m. and end just before 9:00 p.m., when members migrate to a local eating establishment for after-meeting dining and socializing. The meeting is usually held in the Clinic Room on the second floor of REI. Look for the room location notice at the bottom of the stairway near the climbing wall or ask an REI employee.
