7:05 meeting start by Natasha Glasgow

Officer reports: Meeting minutes had a couple of corrections, motion by Natasha to accept them with noted changes, correcting a few spellings of members names.  Will Harris seconds, vote passed with no opposing.  For programs, our vice-chair Natasha reports that Mark Alman will be doing a presentation for March and Amethyst Cirro in April.

Bill Steele gives his report for quartermaster report, no change in inventory.  As usual, his librarian's report is entertaining, yet informative.  People with overdue books and media:  Amethyst (march), Natasha (august), Peyton (august), Jay (september), Cristina (november), Josh (december)

New Business : Charles Goldsmith talked about our email list and changes proposed for the list, noting that all guests and all members will be added to the metroplexcavers.org email list in addition to the dfwgrotto.org list, so that we can stay in touch with the Cowtown grotto better.  Charles also proposed a tshirt store to better facilitate the sale of tshirts and not have it rely on a member to haul shirts around.  Charles will present his proposal at a later meeting.

Trip Reports :  Annual Jester trip, Bill led a trip in the last weekend of January, 36 people showed up and the cave is big enough to handle it.  Good fun and food were found for the trip.

Josh Smith talked about Longhorn cleanup with Mark Alman in February, took the through trip, including the wigglies, said it was a good trip.

Natasha went to Honey Creek Cave with Amethyst for the through trip, went down the shaft entrance, and came out in the spring entrance, they had a mishap at the breakdown and missed the turn, finding that the breakdown was very slippery above and were turned around for a bit.

Trip Announcements : Spring Creek Cave, March 3rd, Grotto project, Bill states that they will be surveying virgin cave.

Natasha is trying to get a trip together for Deep/Punkin, if you are interested, let her know so she can schedule a date
