The DFW Grotto is a group of cavers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area who explore, study, and promote conservation of caves in Texas and beyond.

The Grotto meets at REI, 4515 LBJ Fwy., Dallas. Meetings start at 6:45 p.m. the 4th Wed. of each month Jan.-Oct., and the 3rd Wed. of Nov. Meetings feature trip reports, announcements, caving trip plans, and a multimedia presentation or demo. Intrigued by caving? Check us out! Visitors are welcome.

Upcoming meeting dates and programs:
June 25 - Bill Steele will give a program about a month-long expedition he led to southern Mexico in April to Sistema Huautla, the deepest cave in the Western Hemisphere.
